So one dad washed out a pickle jar, filled it with folded questions, and made a rule: whoever draws it, everyone answers it. No question is about grades, chores, or college. Ever.

The questions were weird on purpose. 'What's a smell that teleports you somewhere?' 'What would your walk-on song be?' 'What's the best thing you've ever found on the ground?' By week two, his kids were sneaking their own questions into the jar.
